That link lead me to a new thread post. But I totally support a vert sub-forum. Good idea rcsoundn1 (who's name I always read as "rap-scoundrel" in my head).

I'm on my second vert and learned a few things just on this thread. I definitely support a vert section!

Yea at times I do really wish I had a coupe. Might be my next ride.

I definitely agree and support this! Especially a Parts section or Interior section, as others have mentioned.

Something that would be awesome is a way to date your convertible top. For instance mine is an OEM BMW top but is not the original since it has a zip in window and micro switches for the late model electric top. It would be nice to be able to date how old the top is or roughly when it would have been installed, since there were revisions through the years.

Also it's worth mentioning that the reason I bought bmw was it was the only old (emissions exempt) 4 seater convertible car with a decent reputation. I mean I could have gone pontiac sunbeam but... cmon

All verts got the low rear arches.

That just shattered everything I thought I knew about tire fitment

Yeah, there's enough vert-specific stuff for its own thread, I'd say. I'm in.

-They all had lower rear arches

Stuff like where to get a vert carpet, how to modify coupe seats to fit in a vert, seeing pictures of coupe door cards installed in a vert (does it work or doesn't it?)

-Seats should work with no issues, besides the rear seats of course. Door panels would have a small gap where the coupe "B pillar" on the door is. Fits however but just will have a gap.
