    1989 convertible M Tech 2 ?

    Hi so I recently bought a 1989 325 convertible an I was able to locate an m teck 2 kit an was wondering if there's any reason I shouldn't buy it other than the work to make it fit I read something about tale lights is there some type of difference in the lights an where can I find comparison pictures plz help thanks guys

    Is the kit for a vert? Cause the side skirts are different between the vert and coupe. As for the difference in tail lights, look up difference between early and late models.

      Well, here's an MTech 1 kit. You won't have to modify nearly as much...

        Now that I'm on a computer I'll better reply to your message.

        Here is an example of the late model rear


        This is an early model


        Now that said. Here's a break down
        84-87= early model
        88-91= late model
        But 88 will have the big aluminum bumpers like the early model.

        Convertible
        87-90= early model
        91-93= late
        But with convertibles, they all have lower rear arches that where the late model bumpers are almost a direct bolt on.
