    Early vert rear apron options?

i have tried searching to no avail, if there's a thread for this please point me. Looking for options for a rear apron for an early DB vert. I'm concerned about the rear arches issue, whether the aftermarket aprons made for early coupes would also fit verts without mods. The lack of images online makes me think this is either a hassle/not possible or aesthetically undesirable, but I'm looking for clarity. I understand that side skirts must be vert-specific.

The options I'm aware of are:
-Vert-specific MT1 (which I take to be a unicorn at this point or out of my price range - also unsure whether just the side skirts are the issue, or rear apron also)
-cut an apron off a late-model

But what about period-correct (used) aftermarket options? Zender, RD etc? Would they fit without mods?

    Thanks!

EDIT: found a post that says the rear arches are the same on early verts and late model vert/coupes. So I should be looking for a late model rear apron? Other fitment issues there? The late model had a larger metal apron, so, problems?

well an '88 hard top has lower rear arches and diving boards just like the verts do so there's that.

If you went to plastic bumpers they would more or less bolt up and then finding a valence would be much easier

Hm. That sounds encouraging. Just hoping for someone to say "yeah, I did that, no prob" or "man, don't even"

Yeah I could go with plastics ... And I know there are aprons that bolt up to the plastics. So maybe that tells me something.

but I like the DBs. Just looking to round out the behind, as it were.

this is a genuine three piece zender apron I had before I went euros. dtm fiberwerkz sells the one piece version for a pretty fair price.

just a heads up, don't hesitate because you're wondering about the fitment of an aftermarket apron, a period correct apron is gonna have fitment issues as well.

you either have to be patient wand wait for one to pop up, or buy the one I linked you to. after having dealt with making that 30 year old piece of zender plastic fit, I'd go with a new piece from dtm.

Great, thank you! Perfect. Yeah, I know there will be some cussing. I just didn't want to find out that big dimensions were different - the way you can't put an early IS air dam on euro bumpers for instance (without cutting). I'll take a look at DTM, I've seen both raves and pans on r3v though so I'm not sure what that means.

Thanks for the pics and info!

              That Zender rear is awesome.

My 87 has a Racing Dynamics rear apron but I'm plastic converted.
