    Convertible top adjustment

I recently installed a new top following all instructions to a T. I watched three videos etc. The rear portion does not meet up with the boot/seal properly. I am left with a 1/2 gap where the rear seal should meet the boot. Any help would be appreciated.

there are a bunch of shims in various locations under the top frame in the boot well. i suggest taking some of the shims out from under the frame.

there are two bolts that go vertically through the top frame and into the boot well on each side and one that is horizontal in the forward direction. play around with the shims in those areas and hopefully you can get it to line up better.

I have three shims on each side. I loosened the bolt, but I am have a little trouble removing the shim. Does it slid out toward the rear of the car? Thanks

The forward shims are slotted and can be removed by just loosening all 6 bolts. The bottom shims have holes so decide before hand how much you want to lower the top, then remove it to access the shims. Don't forget to unhook the micros witch connector first
