e36 wind deflector in an e30?

Anyone seen this done? I read a thread about a guy a trying to modify it a while ago but I can't find it anymore...

If the part numbers are different for the two windshields, I'm curious what's the point of this? If they're the same then that's awesome cause e36s are all over junk yards currently, and it'd be a good way to get a cheap replacement.

modify what? used Kotex? dirty condoms? I see wind deflector in the title but I think we need a little more to go on.

there is/was someone selling a reproduction deflector for a little over a hundred bucks. I think they were listed on ecs tuning website.

Have you seen an e36 wind deflector modified to fit in an e30? Not sure what other info you're looking for...cuz that's what I'm looking for...info!
