I have a 1993 E30 with the power top, I got it mostly working other than having to assist the rear window portion folding up to allow the cover to open/close... which is a pain trying to hold the button and pull up on the window. Is there an adjustment for this? As soon as it gets to a certain point it will fold the window up the rest of the way, but the initial release of the window wont happen automatically. Any help is appreciated

Have you replaced the folding top gas struts? If not, this may be the culprit.

Find the part on realOEM. Once you know the part # you can probably get it from BMW. If you want to go the used route, look for part-out ads here or create a WTB ad.
