Yes, I said "fuses". I am dealing with a glitchy speedo (intermittent operation).
Somewhere in this, or perhaps another e30 forum, I recently saw a mention that there are 3 fuses that can impact the speedo. Seems odd to me, and unfortunately, I can no longer find the reference. Does anyone here know: (1) if in fact this is correct?; and (2) which additional 2 fuses they are (aside from the known speed fuse)? The author of the original "3 fuse" post recommended replacing rather than relying on simply checking the fuses, so if the 3 fuse situation is correct (??), its not sufficient to simply look for one or more faulty fuses. This makes some sense as I have certainly made the mistake of testing a prescribed fuse and having to simply replace it later due to an internal intermittent fault.
