So yea, just did mine today. I rented the slide hammer and bearing puller from autozone so I was set. I tool the hub/axle nut off with the sears socket, and the hub/bearing assembly fell right off and The inner race just popped right out of the hub. I didn't even need the puller. Either I was lucky or my bearing was truly fucked lol.

There should be a few of them already. Go thru the whole diy section.

Yo Ian. I just might take you up on that offer. But not anytime soon. My rear left is in dire need of a new wheel bearing..

is this the Sears socket you guys are using?

I picked up a 36mm deep-well, 6 point, impact socket from amazon - and it looks like it's gonna be too thick..

fwiw - the 6-point impact from Amazon fit with room to spare

(i have a weird stigma against 12 point sockets)

I also wanted to throw another nugget out there after talking with GC Mark (Mark from Ground Control), if they are assembling you new coilovers, have new hubs shipped to GC directly instead of yourself, and GC will install the new hubs free of charge.

This is the route I'll be taking in a few months.

12point is crap because it can easily round the bolt/nuts. 6point ftw!!
