For the m42 motor, you'll want to a reference an e36 manual.
(e30/m42 not acknowledged by Bentley)

This is great, thanks. Used Stuffit expander instead of WinRAR on the mac. Have the print copy at home but good to have the PDF with me everywhere.

Here's a link to the BMW factory repair manual, to complement the Bentley. It includes info for the M10, M20, M40, M42, M3 and diesel engines.

If I print the PDF in a professional laser printer.. I get a good quality comparing the print to the actual book?
