Fuel hardlines on the frame rail

This may not be for EVERY car, but this is how it is on mine (1986 325es), and should be on most every E30. Hope this helps some people.

    Nice.
If this would have helped when I replaced my rubber fuel lines.
I forgot which one was which.

Might consider putting in your post what your car is Josh. If this is looked up years from now, it might not be apparent what year/model e30 you own (or did own).

Thanks for the pic; I was going to ask this very question when I drop my engine in (hopefully soon). I have an 87 es with an 86 build date, so I'm pretty sure it's the same.

I usually just trace the lines from the tank to the firewall

Not everyone here is quite that smart. It's doubted they'll even know how to use the search function to find this thread.

Nice thank you! My transplant has been on an unplanned pause for a good portion of the year, so this'll help me a lil bit when I get started again in a couple weeks. I was too noob to label things when I took the motor out of my old car lol (but then again I guess needing labels is just as noob haha).

I used the search function helped out from jacking the car up again. haha
it's identical in my 1991 m42 car. I think those metal hoses are the same.
