IS Decklid Spoiler Installation Template

I drilled once and use the tape method, it was 100% perfect fit the first time. I thought the directions and dimension was perfect. This was an awesome template.

thanks a lot for the pictures! i am installing an E28 spoiler, so i don't think the numbers will work.

this is helpful though, i don't have to imagine as much now.

Yes, the m-tech1 has the same mounting holes as an iS spoiler.

Bump from the grave. I just used this template and my IS spoiler is now mounted perfectly. Thanks for the scans.

I put silicone on the holes then put it on, seals perfectly, no leaks.

James and I just have large ass slots from our guess work. What ever, the spoiler covers them anyways haha.

+1. Mine was pretty close though. Who cares, the spoiler covers it, just seal with Silicone.

i will be putting mine on sunday along with my 87 front valence. i was going to use a ruler and a chalk box. now i know the numbers thanx a lot.

This kind of helps. However if you are 2 mm's off you are fuxored...

Exactly, I did mine last night, it looks good, but it didn't fit perfect the first time, I had to make the holes a bit bigger.

I scored a nice trunk spoiler at the JY and will be working on this project soon, hope it works out good no mistakes.
