DIY: How to wire Euro Bumper turn signals

The euro bumper turn signals have a two pin connector, while the american spec uses a three pin connector. The third pin allows for a dual filament bulb.

The answer is pretty simple. I just cut, bent, chewed off the parking like connection on the american plastic plug.

    Needed:
    needle nose pliers
    utility knife
    electrical tape

    Here is how:

The stock american three pic connector -

I carefully chipped away at the connector until I had the third pin free from the ground and turn signal pins. The parking light is the grey wire on both sides. Leaving the brown (ground) and the blue/red (blinker) intact.

You may have to cut away at the edges until it fits into the turn signal plug. Really though, it shouldnt take much. I had mine first try and it fit nice and snug.

    Euro 2 pin connector.

Well there you have it. Plug n play.

I did this the only downside is that your day lights don't work only when the clicker is on.
