Taurus side skirts - modification and installation

Seems like this is either a hit or miss. I mean some cars look good with them and some dont. The one's where the skirt sit in more looks clean. Any tips on where to mount them to get it flush with the body? I just dont like where it sticks out.

Any ideas on how to make the center section mount stronger so any/all sags are taken care of?

Here's my Sable skirts, yep, I'm not spending $200+ for OEM...

That car is nice! Mines red too but not in that good of shape!
I'm still torn between the sable or taurus skirts.

Hey, that's looking pretty good. Some appear to stick out pretty far, and look almost ballonish, as someone mentioned earlier, and don't seem to match the car very well. This one looks pretty flush. Any more pics??

Okay, I have looked through every thread I can dig up, plus on other sites, and don't see any pic's of these skirts on a diving board car. Would consider this mod, but not sure how it would look on a car without a rear valance and a big front valance. I have an 86 with a stock rear and a front sport lip. Does anyone have any pics of these on a db car?

That picture looks like a toy in a fake background. How did you do that?

Took the pic over a year ago, had to lighten it a lot to see the skirts, and mostly just shitty pic with point and shoot and enough PP to kill a small army. 8)

I liked the idea when i did them, but looking back i wouldn't do it again.
