I dont know which valence you're referring to, but both of them are the shorter versions regardless.

Great thread, but nobody clarified how to address the side vents. What did you guys do to seal those rubber flaps? I was thinking about that spray foam but then again that seems cheap and wrong.

I took a square of plastic and just duct taped it around the vents "sealing" them up. I pulled the drain plugs from the side trays in the trunk so that if water got in there it would vent. If you live in a snowier area or if it rains more, you'd probably want more of a permanent solution though. In TN, it worked fine.

Water gets past those flaps now that the old db covers are gone.

Ok I have no clue on how to get my front turn signals/parking lights to work. I'm no electrical engineer so those diagrams are Chinese to me.

In the pursuit of having my euro bumper turn signals serve as parking lights and turn signals, I found this: http://www.customled.com/products/ma...ic_blinker.htm

                            Basic Diagram:

I'm going to buy a set and see how it works. I don't want to spend too much trying to figure out a complex relay system to accomplish this.

                                Help

                                I'm pretty new at this.
I have an E30 from 1986, and I was wondering if there was any way I could change/buy or install the newer bumpers from 89+ on my bmw.
