whats everybodys opinion on megasquirt?

a buddy of mines bought en e30 with all these mods and a megasquirt tune, how expensive are they?

Lol. Megasquirt is great! It can be had for $600 prebuilt by whodwho.

I like megasquirt. It's probably one of the most versatile management systems for the least amount of money. Even if you rewire your entire harness like I did, get a new spark system, wideband and everything, it can be done under $1000 easily.

I spent a bunch of money getting my 413 ecu tuned and it ran ok, went to Megasquirt and picked-up 10hp tuning it myself.
