    Tablet for tunerstudio via Bluetooth

I am in the process if ordering whodwhos megasquirt with the Bluetooth adapter. I am new to tuning ad very excited because my project is finally coming to life.

I am not a computer guy I can get by but I was looking to get a tablet. I was wondering if there was a tablet out there that could connect via Bluetooth to whodwhos ms and be able to run the programs fine.

Or if anyone has their two cents on this idea. This computer is really just only going to be for surfing the web and such so it's not in much of a high demand.

Looking to spen about 150. Thanks

A lot of the 7inch tablets can be gotten for around that price samsung tab 2 7.0 google nexus or maybe an older model of a bigger screen... ie asus tf 101 and tf201. Theres an android app shadowms or something (just search megasquirt in the app store) and Its 10 bucks. I was thinking of somehow mounting it in the dash so I can always have the gauges from tunerstudio and be able to switch and tweak on the go.. I think theres another app for free but I dont think its made by the same people. Not sure on that tho.

Well tunerstudio with megalogger was like 70 bucks and I assume it was a download from tunerstudio.com, so it would be legit. I would have to double check the shadowms.

Would the program itself be annoying tuning without a mouse or a keyboard?

I just found this and it says Bluetooth enabled v3. I am wondering if the graphics card/java would be able to support tunerstudio

shadowms is just a dashboard/logger - it might have some small tweaking functionality by now, but it doesn't have anywhere near the level of power that Tunerstudio has.

there is another dashboard/logger that started a little before shadowms. Both are legit.

Ok I understand. So I would really just need a tablet that works with tunerstudio mostly

I don't think Tunerstudio will run on anything other than windows/macOS but i could be wrong.

Interesting information in this thread. So it sounds like if you want full functionality you need a Laptop or Desktop with Windows/Mac OS?

If Tunerstudio made an app for Android i'm sure it'd sell well. Torque seems to have sold REAL well.

You want something with GPS for logging purposes. Other than that, it doesn't need to be high spec'd to work well.

Shadow Dash MS is the equivalent of TunerStudio. I only use Shadow Logger MS + TunerStudio on my laptop.
