Wondering if anyone has tried 02again's Jeep stepper IAC adapter on an M20? Just curious as I think it would really clean up the intake area looks wise. Not necessarily a performance thing, but just something cool. It's shown on a 318 intake. It's also designed already to plumb to a 325i throttle body and comes with the connector. The link is to the instructions, showing how it connects to the tb.

why? the PWM idle valve works perfectly with MS. The steppers have been a lot more problematic in the past. -

Don't use the stepper motor.. it's not working properly at all with MS
I have had issues with car dieing out on me and erratic working for quite some months before I figured out that it was all in that stepper motor.. it just looses its position constantly so to say and it doesn't have any feedback, so no way MS knows where it is at.. total bsComment
