    Megasquirt Idle Valve Options

    Hey,

I'm now running an MS2 setup in my car without any idle valve. I know I can use the stock ICV with some modifications, but is there a well known stepper idle valve that works well with e30s/M20s? I've been searching around but haven't found a good example of a different idle valve setup.

    Thanks
    Thanks,
    Matt

I'd just use the stock idle valve

Doesnt have to be from an e30, they all work the same - as long as its a 3 wire.

That's what the general consensus seems to be, the only reason why I'm interested in another idle valve is the person I bought the setup from has it wired for a 4-wire idle valve. The connector's already there and everything so I figured if it was pretty common it might just be easier to plug in another idle valve.

But I'll just figure out how to get the stock one wired in, thanks!
      Thanks,
