hey guys quick question my old ecu is failing and now im stuck with my daily driver being driven with a tune that I don't trust using my megasquirt ecu , I looked around the place and was wondering if anyone had a tune that would basically put my car to running megasquirt with a stock tune and not idle so horrible , the car backfires around 3000 rpm which im sure in hell is not suppose to happen but I had no choice because the stock ecu works when it pleases , when I first start the car it with megasquirt also idles horrible yes ill be getting the car tuned properly but when I have the funds and my turbo kit together I found a guy to dyno and tune my car for 600 bucks for a 3 hour run which is awesome. but atm I don't have the funds to put it toward a tune on my stroked engine just as a daily driven non turboed tune if someone could help me out it would be appreciated thanks

Why not just buy another stock dme? They could be had for around 40-60 maybe even less

honestly I wanna get rid of this maff it is friken huge.... loool and I got the iat sensor I rather see what kind of difference it would be and megasquirt basically helps allot I just need a steady tune if I find someone to do it here in Calgary for just helping me getting it to run as a street tune until I get my turboed parts together that would be great

there's a stock tune for the DIYpnp on DIYautotune's site that should work with any MS2 setup.

but wouldn't I have to downgrade the firmware on the megasquirt? and if so is there any way to get it to what I have which is 3.2.4

no, you don't have to downgrade.

al you really need are the tables and curves. most of the "settings" you'd leave alone.

so its fine if I get those errors , when I basically accept to use that tune okay , im using the stock tune but the car still seems like its sluggish and running bad , idle is terrible so I gotta start trying to get it to idle stable it jumps around and is idleing at 650 700 wich is low and making the car drive weird and make it seem like its gonna shut off also , it dose shut off unless I rev it till it warms up a bit so im thinking I gotta adjust the idle duty cycle

is your ICV even working? it sounds like it's not working at all.

it probably doesn't even work..this thing isn't idleing when I start my car with any tune I have and even with stock
