    Megasquirt on M60 twin turbo

    Hi all
I'm currently halfway through my M60 twin snail project and I'm starting to think about the management side of things.
question is what sort of hardware do i need to run the Megasquirt system on the boosted M60?
ideally i want to do away with the MAF sensor and use a 3Bar MAP if that helps any?

    thanks

Megasquirt includes an onboard MAP sensor. Not sure about the ms3, but all the older ones were 2.5 bar, i.e. they can read about 21.5psi of boost. Sensor is mounted on main board, an you just run a reference line to your intake. Upgrade sensor kits are available from DIYAutoTune. They are all tuned speed density, so MAF sensor is not even used, unless you specifically set it up. MAF delete will be easy with that setup.

you can use whatever MAP sensor you like. a 3 bar sensor sort of implies 2 bars of boost which is quite a lot, I really doubt you'll need that unless you're going to run 25-30psi. the stock 2.5 bar sensor is most likely enough.

        thanks for your replies guys,
i have gone with the MS2 v3 Megasquirt so will be able to run the 2.5bar map sensor like you both said......
only problem is iv slightly over looked the spec sheet of the MS2. by the looks of things it doesn't run 8 cylinders/injectors sequentially.
i can pick up the cylinders with a EDIS8 module but is this the best way?

        thanks
