    Cheap stand alone ignition options.

I'm currently running a carbureted m30 with a points distributor from an old e3 Bavaria. While I love the hand on tuning, sound, and throttle response of the carb, the ignition does nothing but piss me the fk off. Points SUCK!!! What other options are out there for me? Ford EDIS? Fixed dizzy (like on a stock m20) with controller, or some other kind of cheap wasted spark? Thanks in advance. Oh and when I say cheap, I'm thinking <$250.

Megajolt seems VERY attractive. Looks like I can get the megajolt controller and run junkyard coils and EDIS box for less than $200

Can you get a Pertronix "ignitor" for your bav distributor?

$250 is pretty cheap. I don't know what the MS1 goes go for, but that is just ignition tuning. Maybe an MSD box? Very little tuning capability compared to the MS1, though.

Check out my for sale thread. I have some MSD ignition stuff in there that I honestly have no idea what it does or needed for. I would sell it to you for Best offer if you could use it. Let me know
