    What standalone would i use?

    I'm building a 2.7i turbo but its n/a for now soon to be turbo, what megasquirt you recommend?

              afaik haltech isn't good for a 60-2 VR wheel

              you can use an E36 TPS or one from a 525i auto with the M20.

                  true. I can always get a magnet wheel fabbed up at the shop to cure that issue..

                    you could of course, but it's always nice to use what's already there and the 60-2 wheel provides very good crank degree resolution, compared to say a 36-1 wheel.
