My 91 325i is in need of exhaust from the manifolds back, the muffler is rusted through & a failed rocker arm looks to have killed my cat. Super sprint & Eisenmann both make center sections but they do not show how far forward they go. Does anyone have a picture of the center sections installed on their car?

they make a couple each. some center sections don't go all the way to the manifold, they are set up for headers and require custom work, so be careful what you order. i think there is an ansa as well. the oem is eberspaecher. walker makes oe replacement units but are heavier than the car, they are the easiest bolt in solution though, and loads cheaper. ansa may have a bolt in center section, haven't seen one in a decade so dunno if they are still available.
i'm going to be installing an IE header, and have a stromung catback, will either go with a custom mid, or try the supersprint.
edit : magnaflow has a center section that connects straight to the manifolds. then all you need is the catback.Last edited by 82eye; 09-19-2022, 07:34 AM. -
I am also in search of an exhaust system for an 88 325e. I read that its the same as a 325i.
82eye - where would you be purchasing from?
I am on ebay and I see some brands like SS and BRE. Are they good?
