Help car choking

Well im doing a job on my boys white e30 but its choking i think its the 02 sensor if the o2 sensor bad what dose it affect and how

Pretty vague explanation of your problem. Under what condition does the "choking" occur? Under acceleration, cruising, wide open throttle?

You can easily test the O2 sensor and it's plug with a volt meter if you think that's the problem.

well when the idle goes low it doss it but after its up it wont do it any more
its sound like it needs gas when it doesn't

my dad disconnected the oxygen sensor i drove it for like 20 min then the car started to putt like if it need gas can it be the oxygen sensor
