Restricter in Exhaust?

I ran stock m20 exhaust for a while, and it ran fine... I don't have much room to install another muffler because my cherrybomb glasspack is taking up a lot of piping. -
Get a resonated exhaust tip from Kragen, worked wonders on my turbo car.Leave a comment:

why do you want a restrictor? 2.5" is fine for an N/A motor. Just put a second muffler in the center somewhere.Leave a comment:

Weld me up a restricter. I'm still trying to find out how i want to do it. I'm thinking of getting a 2.5" flange and having a conical shape tacked onto it so it would reduce the size of the piping theoretically.Leave a comment:

thats dangerous lol.
you can check ebay for a restrictor. I have a bud in richmond with one that I think is 2.5" he can sell you cheap. They just look like large syringes that butt fuck your muffler.Leave a comment:

my buddy is running straight turbo to muffler and it's quiet if you don't get on it.Leave a comment:

Ever heard my car? I have a muffler AND a cat and the neighbors still look at me funny when I fire it up. I want a glass pack or resonator soon.Leave a comment:

Even with a turbo it'll sound loud as balls. Get a glass pack or something and weld it in. I'll do it for beer and or pizza.Leave a comment:

Restricter in Exhaust?
Alright, I have an m52 with long tube headers, going to a 2.5" straight pipe all the way back to a 29" cherry bomb resonator with a generic brand muffler. I plan on going turbo in the near future, but I am going to do my suspension first. Now my question is, for a temporary fix, is there any way that I can slide in a restricter into the 2.5" exhaust tube to quiet it down for the time being?Tags: None
