I just took the ole flowmaster off in favor of a thursh turbo muffler (cheap) and the car sounds much better. Was nice before, but toooo loud.

Nice! Quiet is good. And yea, that rubber ring had to go anyways.

I'm sorry to re-visit this thread after two years, but I just got a Supersprint exhaust installed on my 318is and I swear.... it is the quietest exhaust I have ever heard.

Anyone else notice this with their Supersprint?

I like something I can at least hear with my windows down. This sounds just as quiet as stock.
