whats everyones thoughts on doing this?
    any gains, losses?
    costs?
still debating if it'd be a good move.

what do you guys suggest instead for a 92 325?
i already really dig the stock sound maybe something more deep and of course im greedy so anything that'll give me some more hp or any other type of gain.

Holy crap that's a good deal! I just paid $50 for a 2.5" in/out Thrush. They sound OK, but without a cat or at least resonator they don't sound so good. I have it as my resonator and a DTM muffler on the end - backfire during tuning blew the guts out of the cat, replaced it with the Thrush.

Having a car with straight pipes for a while is a rite of passage.

Is a high flow cat a suggestion?

Edit: With a cat-back exhaust, such as the one listed above..
I'd assume that a high-flow cat will have no effect with the stock rear muffler section

If you're a broke attention whore who says "look at me! look at me!!!" whenever you're driving your car, do it.

If you want a clean sounding exhaust don't.
                          Function.
                          Form.

this is what an M20 with headers and 3" straight pipes sounds like. Unless you want the attention of the cops in the next town over I suggest against it (however it is fun to put tags on it every now and again)
