    I know this isn't the side exhaust you were talking about but if you had a turbo, you could do something similar to what we did to our car.

      Check with your emissions people, in Colo. you cant have side pipes unless they were stock or live in a county without emissions.

        Thanks, but don't try to do a side exhaust as a way of cheeping out on rust repair.
        Besides, even if you tried to build a tunnel for your exhaust to exit right in front of the wheel where your rust is, your gas tank is in the way. That's why if you look at mine, it's not all the way in the back of the sideskirt.

        That's kind of cool for a track car. I've seen a setup similar to that, but exit through the fender rather than the hood (non-e30).
