    Help finding flanges (89 325is)

Hey guys, recently acquired a Remus muffler for my 89 325is, my setup now (built by previous owner) is a hack job, it consists of IE headers to welded to the stock downpipes into the stock cat, welded on the back of the cat is a Y pipe to a single pipe (2 1/4 i guess) to the exhaust. The Remus muffler is designed to bolt up to the stock setup, i really don't want to have a shop hack up the Remus to make this work, anyone have any ideas where i can get matching flanges that i can have welded onto my cat? Having a hard time finding them used, if it boils down to it i may just have to wait and get a high flow cat and have the whole exhaust system redone. Any help is greatly appreciated.

From the sounds of it, you need a whole new exhaust system. So I would suggest just doing that. ha.

I know i know, but i really want to get this muffler on. My neighbor is going to cut the y pipe off and weld the flanges on for me if i can get them. Even if i decide to get a high flow cat i would still need the flanges to make this be able to bolt on and off easily.

There are tons of e30s with rusted mufflers. Just cut off the OEM muffler and weld on the factory pipes. Or just put a full 2.5" exhaust.

Just to update this in case anyone searches for the same information, i was able to get a used stock midsection replacement. I did find out though, that Pelican and many other parts places do carry replacement flanges.
