I agree w/ TJ, the e36 m3 has some of the best looking tips around. Any more and its too flashy, any less and its too utilitarian looking.
not to mention you can get an entire E36 M3 catback for less than the price of just the magnaflow bling muffler.BEERTECH

I have the e36 muffler on my car, sounds decent, kind of quiet. The problem though is the weight. It is so heavy it stretches out the rubber hangers and the exhaust really swings side to side when cornering(or up and down over bumps). I would suggest passing on it, I just got the IE catback today.
Hope that helpsComment

Beat THAT shit.
I don't care if the fucking thing weighs 20 lbs - it was 2 fucking dollars.
Got it in the mail today - the tips are in EXCELLENT shape. Will look nice on my vert.
I heard Adam's M50 car (Kancamangus) pass me at WOT at about redline, and man oh fuckin man, the sound was to die for. Stock e36 muffler=best of all worlds. Not too loud, great sound, stealth looking.
I'm bringing my car (which has no cat-back, right now), a stock cat-back with bad muffler, and this new muffler, and having them weld it on the stock cat-back and fit it to my car. MAY cost me $50. Shipping was $30. So for $82, I get a nice looking, great sounding cat-back system, shipped to me, installed, and capable of flowing up to 192 HP or more (stock M50.) The M20 won't push that much, so why get a muffler that can handle more?Comment

Thats a strange looking exhaust. I'm not sure it will fit between the spare well and the valance. If it does, it will hang down below the valance on the rear of a late model car.
Good luck with it. I ended up installing the new OEM E30 exhaust on my car that was on my parts car, it sounds so good. So deep and nice compared to my old rusted one.Comment
