Have you thought about just buying a magnaflow or vibrant or whatever brand muffler and having angled tips welded on?

I have not heard one of those that I like yet. I usually go with Supersprint, Remus, Stromung etc. Trying to see if anyone knows of any out there made to fit, or if anyone has a used one I can modify.

I figured you could just buy a dual out muffler and weld little elbows onto the exits with your tips welded on that. You would just have to place the muffler further back.

^I like the look of that. Is that muffler any cheaper than the E30 one? How loud is it?

I do not know the cost of the Fox exhaust so you will hav to ask him for that information.

The note of the exhaust is sweet, I love hearing it when I put the top down. A nice bassy, throaty note when you get on the gas but it is not loud.

I've heard a few other exhausts and the Fox unit sounds the best to my ears.

IE copy. You are going to be hard pressed to find a single in, dual out with slanted tips. Very few cars slant the tips out, and for the cars that actually do (E30), dual in/dual out is what is produced by aftermarket companies to maintain ease and compatibility.

I've used this cat-back on both my M20 and S52 and it sounds great on both. No drone, and quiet in the lower rpms.

I know I am hard pressed, hence this thread. I have thought about buying and hacking up an ebay unit. I would rather get a used one for that purpose.

I know that they exist, its just a matter of finding one. Chances are I wont find one before I am going to have to do a full custom exhaust... So I have just been keeping my fingers crossed.
