I'm actually all finished with exhaust and it sounds pretty good and not raspy at all... kinda loud for my taste at idle and low speed, but gets quieter with higher rpm's.

Is it important to have flex pipe installed somewhere between headers and catalytic? I heard that engine moves a little and exhaust should have flex joint otherwise welds might crack. Any input on that?

how did it end up sounding? i have the same setup but no glass pack. Its sounds fine but way to loud, im wondering what length i sould get. got a sound clip?

In process of getting it done... I ended up getting Magnaflow Glasspack 18146 30" long... will see how its going to work out. I will keep you posted

a resonator only mildly changes the sound. a glasspack is more of a muffler (just a cheap one). a muffler will change the sound and make it quieter. If you're not 19, go with the second muffler (or glasspack) rather than a resonator.

So, there is a difference between glasspack and resonator? I could get a glasspack for less, as long as it does its job. Any ideas on brand, length? Thanks

It will sound a bit raspy above 4.5rpm wot, but the cat is helping a lot.
