    VOID the resonator??

I have an 87 325E with an exhaust leak in the resonator. Has anyone replaced their resonator with a straight pipe. Or, does anyone know how long it will take for me to blow the baffles out of my muffler with no resonator. I have considered replacing it with another, but a length of pipe is way cheaper and I am way cheap. After all it is an ETA...... :)

    Thanks in advance......

I had mine taken out when I put the headers on (it had a hole in it like yours), I can't tell any difference.
