    Just a quick question

My stock muffler is rusted beyond belief, so I may have a chance to purchase a good stock 'i' exhaust for cheap. Will i loose anything/gain anything if I remove the resonator for sound(how loud will it be) and have thicker piping used instad of the stock size? maybe a 1/4 to 1/2 bigger?

    Thanx.

probably gain a little noise, but the difference in flow will be negligible at best

I had my resonator removed (had a hole in it), didn't notice any change in the sound.
