Need help getting the correct cat.

So after multiple confirmation emails and phone calls to an un-named online parts dealer, I received the wrong catalytic converter for my car. I'm looking to find the least expensive new replacement cat. online. Hoping someone here can make sure I get the correct one now...

    1988 BMW 325 seta2.7 2dr vin.WBAAB640XJ8227420

I'm looking to replace the catalytic converter. And I have already received the wrong one (for the 2.5L 325i) with dual outlet (to silencer/muffler). My car has dual inlet (from manifolds) to single outlet (to silencer/muffler). I explained this to the vendor and even sent pictures and I still got the wrong Bosal cat.

I believe the dimensions on this one are correct: http://www.allexhaust.com/magnaflowc...es/L/23553.gif
    its Magnaflow #23553
It seems when I search for my car's cat. I usually get links for the 325i cat. (the wrong one, I already received), and the one listed above usually comes up for 325e up to 1987...

Can someone please clear this up for me?! Returning parts to online vendors is a pain in the ass, and I've had no luck locally.

A link would be awesome if you find one! If you can verify the magnaflow one is correct I know I can source that one for about $330, or a cheeper alternative with the correct dimensions would be fine too...

    Thanks in advance!

Your car either has the wrong exhaust or custom exhaust on it.

Super Eta cars came with a complete 325i exhaust system.

If you're car is an 88 325, keep the dual exhaust and finish it with the proper rear muffler. It's okay to use the 325i stuff.

I was thinking that when I was returning the other cat., but honestly, this is my winter beater and I dont have the cash to finish it off with an i muffler... I just ordered the magnaflow cat for a pretty good price. I figure if its not the dual outlet one, it has to be correct, its clearly not the 318 cat...

I'll keep this updated, on if its correct, and also a review. Should be getting done soon after thanksgiving

          Thanks

Sounds like someone put a standard 325e system on your car which isn't correct but whatever works.
