    if you dont do it this summer, then you'll be sucking some exhaust from my german engineering over your japanese toybox. :)

    and get rid of that dump pipe and recirc. it.

    Then once you have the turbo on there all you need is downpipe to cat or resonater.

    Im going to do somthing similar

    I really dispise how bmw's look with a single outlet muffler and welding on tips is not my cup of tea either. And so what ill loose a bit of flow but im not going for world record hp either.
    yeah i really like this idea. Fortunatly for me my brother is taking a welding class right now at school so when we get back for summer he'll be my go to guy for fabing up some stuff. I just need to buy the neccesary parts obviously.

    how come you are choosing an 18" resonator over a metal core cat?

    I agree about the single outlet mufflers. Is it really that bad to run a single in dual out muffler when FI?

      We dont have emissions laws here so i can run what ever i want for exhaust.

      Im sure if you get into the technical side of it and calculate flow in 3" straight through vs dual in dual out muffler that there may be some sort of difference. But being that the rear muffler is the only thing with dual in/out pipes by the time time the gases are reaching it they should be cooled enough to not create a huge restriction in flow.

      Friend of mine had a E30 M3 with a m30 turbo and his exhaust was a down pipe into a m3 race exhaust i forget the brand, but he had no ill effects it still spooled quick and made over 400whp.

        i'll be going single in single out muffler. Now im just trying to figure out how much modification is needed to make the OEM m50 or s52 exhaust manifold and downpipe/midpipe section fit with the m5 motor mounts. Picking up a set this weekend nad going to try and fab em up to fit.

        oem m50 mani + midpipes --> flowmaster y pipe--> vibrant highflow metal core cat--> single in/out muffler.
