    getting ahead of myself

I am not 100% sure i am even doing a s50 this next summer but i still am trying to collect info. For the exhaust, which i dont know much about, i was thinking this: 3 inch piping with resenator and a stock m3 exhaust(because they can be had for dirt cheap). What do you guys think about this setup.

    You don't need 3 inches.

it'll be a tiny bit louder if you use the stock muffler...

            I'd go for magnaflo...

I have 2x2.25" all the way back. A cat on each pipe, and two mufflers in the system.

Its a bit loud, but you can hear every little gurgle and such in the engine... its bad-fucking-ass.

uh yeah because paying the shop who did your exhaust another $25 for an O2 sensor bung is too much!
