The part number for that resonator is 10436. I believe they make a shorter one as well.

The resonator's part number is 10436, the catalytic converter is 94037, and the muffler is a 14815.

I totally forgot about posting sound clips on here, so I revved it up a bit this morning and got a quick clip. She was still a bit cold, so I didn't get too liberal with the gas.

I have some freeway driving shots around here somewhere, but I just can't seem to find them.

Question: did the shop require you to use a cat, or was it a convenient way of getting a y-pipe?

Seeing as how that place is reasonably local, and the work looks great, I'd like to get a system done up there as well, but I'm not so hot on running a cat.

I forgot to follow up with this also. I'm now running this resonator and muffler on an M42 car. It's loud. I wish I went with 2.25" diameter components instead of 2.5"... I also think the muffler sticks out a tad too far.

It might stick out like you say, but it looks pretty sick! Did you ask to get it slanted like that? And any sound clips?

The shop wouldn't do it without the cat :(
Besides, without a catalytic converter, it would be LOUD. I'm not sure what you're used to, but this thing puts out quite a bit more noise than any other car I hear on a regular basis.

But, there's a deal right now on exhaust installs!

It's the first one on the list! I had one of the hangar's welds break recently, but I called and they agreed to patch it back up. I just need to find time to head over!

                      Do you mean like this?

Be aware that it is pretty dang loud!

Thanks! Yes I specifically asked to have it slanted to resemble the 325 exhausts. I will take a sound clip as soon as I repair a leak forward of the cat.

                              Oh, behave!

I had the local exhaust shop weld a second smaller resonator right behind the muffler and repair a few pinhole leaks in the exhaust. It's now much quieter and considerably less raspy/droney. I'm pretty happy with the result. Total expense for this cat-back exhaust was under $500.
