    Quick Exhaust help

Forgive my ignorance, but what ways can i remove this cat-back? It seems like he welded the second pipe on completely and didn't use any harnesses or anything.

    Thanks in advanced

you were looking for the word flange, not harness.

        and yeah, cutting it...

never touched an exhaust system before, and didn't have any saws or anything at my disposal, so I'm just checking if there would've been any other options. obviously cutting was my first idea, and am picking up a sawzall tomorrow.

Its because half the "OEM" exhaust made for e30s have stupid double flanges when e30s only have one. I had too weld mine on too.

Lets drive to a muffler shop in the Bronx where I have had work done, they pull it off your car and on to my car and all good. Bring your new exhaust and you are golden mate.
