Hey all, I've got some questions regarding an exhaust setup I'm considering. Right now, my car has a stock M20 with some sort of headers, no cats, and straight back to what I assume is the (rusted) stock muffler. It is way to loud for my liking.
I'm thinking of going with a Vibrant ultra quiet resonator and muffler, but I can't decide between the 2.5" inlet and the 3" inlet.

I like the angle cut tips on the 1043, but I assume the 3" inlet (on both muffler and resonator) will make it louder than the 2.5". Is that right?
Alternatively, I was looking at this Megan Racing muffler (3" outlet, 2.5" inlet) because I'm a bit worried that the 3.5" tips would look too big.
thoughts? Anyone have experience with either of these set ups and can point me in the right direction? Thanks alot.
