best muffler for single 2.5 m20 exhaust

I know I've read a bunch of threads on this but I just want to know a muffler that will sound really nice, no drone just some throat to it.

If been searching summit racing and I'm having a hard time because I don't know what any of them sound like. I heard dynomax ones sound really nice could any one concern this?

And if you want to recommend me a muffle just post a link or a part number, thanks a lot guys

I <3 my Borla. Also have a Vibrant resonator.

You aren't going to get straight-through, catless setup that doesn't drone, at least a little.

I planned on running a cat, what borla do you have? Do you have a sound clip of it by chance?

I love the sound of a Flowmaster muffler on the M20 engine.

Two chamber (40 series) for a louder option and three chamber (50 series) for a bit quieter.

not 2.5 but a fairly loud set up.

Eta downpipes to aftermarket blown 2" cat no res 2" back to a 2"inlet remus muffler.
Lots of drone but not much rasp

Almost forgot I had this. Dyno video with some exhaust sounds for you.

This is IE shorty headers, single 2.5" exhaust with Hushpower center resonator, no cat, and a 40 series Flowmaster.

I really want to get a nice growl out of my m20 because all of my friends (vw kids) are always busting my balls about how a straight six sounds like shit, I don't even know where they heard that? But yea I'll check some of the flow master 40's

Sounds so awesome. He has bavauto headers, it would probably sound different if the OP doesn't.
