    Exhaust recommendation

My m20 has a universal high flow cat and a universal muffler with 2.25" piping, no resonator. Looks like something the PO had done at a chain muffler shop, and it sounds like ass. I was thinking of picking up a magnaflow muffler, and possibly adding a resonator. Do you guys think this would sound good? Thoughts?

e34 on the left? If so, it sounds much better than the e30. Could be the camera/mic, but the e30 sounds a little too raspy.

My e34 is on the elft

E34 has a single 2.5 from the cats back to a maganflow universal. There were some exhaust leaks in that video though, sounds FAR better now!

24v probably has something to do with it too... ;)

Yes. the magnaflow cost me $130 brand new installed on my 5 and I am thoroughly pleased with it.

e34s have alot of sound deadening so in car it is not very loud :(

Seems like you could kill two birds with one stone. Drop some weight AND hear your investment a little more!

Ok just got back from muffler shop. They threw a resonator in just after the cat sounds much better now.

Na, no clips. It doesn't sound good, but the resonator definitely removed most of the rasp. I'm leaning towards a Magnaflow...
