Cat to Rear Exhaust section Connection

Hello, I pulled my exhaust to replace the drive shaft and when I took the rear half off of the catalytic converter section this is what I saw.

It looks to me that the flange on the left pipe is rusted away and I know for sure the sealing ring is rusted in place. I don't think the little tail piece on the left is stock either.

Any suggestions on how to reassemble this in a way that will seal properly?

    Thanks!

That's normal. Pull the donut off of the pipe end, get 2 new donuts and reassemble.

Edit: some pb blaster or kroil should free up the seized donut for you.
