    Basically 2 options:
    - Y-pipe after cat to 2.5" pipe all the way back to muffler
    - Y-pipe right before oem muffler making twin 1.75" pipes into single inlet 2.5"

Just curious what everyone thinks is the best option, drone and loudness don't bother me just looking for the optimal solution is while trying to be cheap lol

In response to your question I went with the 1st option. I have 2.5 straight pipe after cat to this muffler. I think I've been approached many times how good it sounds despite my tiny exhaust leak. Mine sounds more throatier with the stock cat and manifold. I have yet to install my shorty headers.

Sounds like this on the road

Sounds like this from the outside

    and another clip.

For anyone curious what the Magnaflow 14815/ 14816 sounds like. I am waiting to put my shorty headers on but I have stock manifold with 2.5 straight pipe after cat to this muffler. I think I've been approached many times how good it sounds despite my tiny exhaust leak.

I had a magnaflow 14803... Sounded like ass drone was so annoying I had to put on a flow master hush power behind it....Drone was still loud... I got fed up and threw an OEM style muffler on with the hushpower behind it for some growl its quiet but opens up when you push it
