Thoughts on this exhaust set up

Currently looking at various exhaust options to have put together just before the swap is dropped in. I'm interested in something pretty free flow with a good amount of sound volume.

This is an idea of what I'm looking for and in my opinion one of the most unique and best sounding set up's I've come across.



On the list so far is:

Vibrant 1040 Muffler (5in x 9in x 15in)

All hooked up to some long tube headers at the front end.

Would 2.5in piping be good or should I go with 3in?

The car in the vid is "85mm forged 11:1 cp pistons, 81mm stroke Eta Crank, forged Eagle 135mm rods, Fully Balanced , ej crank scraper plate, Mildly ported cylinder head (nothing crazy), schrick 288 cam, M5 v10 beehive valve springs, vernier cam gear, 19lb injectors, Megasquirt engine management, Bav auto long tube headers, Custom 3" single exhaust, lightened Flywheel, Competition HD puck style clutch, Stock Getrag 260, 4.10 Rear LSD, 7400 rpm redline and 245bhp"


Mine will be similar, 2.8 10:1, Eta Crank, 885 Head, 272 Cam, HD Rockers, MM Valve Springs, 19lb Injectors, Ssssuid tuning, Long tube headers, and this exhaust.

Should make some nice N/A power and be a sweet daily driver.
