    ETA exhaust.

I was working on the exhaust of my 86 325es this weekend. The muffler was gottet out so I pulled it off to replace it. What's the deal with the ETA exhaust ? I'm running with NO muffler and it's not even close to being loud . Not even when I'm getting on the gas hard. Why is that ?

the cat has a resonator and quiets the exhaust quite a bit. plus it makes like 120hp.

I was just wondering. I've never heard a car being that quite without a muffler.
My 318 is I used to have had a Flowmaster 40 on it and it was LOUD.

yeah I took the muffler off my ix once to do some suspension work. started it up for fun because I wanted to see how loud it was.. and it wasn't.
