    Exhaust Harmonic tuning

I interested to see what could be done to the exhaust note of a m20, this is not a I want rasp thread but rather I wanted to see what was possible as far as refining and making an m20 not sound like an m20. Im curious to see if anyone on here has messed with pipe length, diameter, special mufflers to get a unique sound. Not trying to take away the inline six noise, just to see what others have done.
Ive been reading vibration and the way the pipes merge particularly the headers plays a major roll and that some manufacturers uses weights to reduce vibration.

For example: Different manifolds with the same turbo.
    Unequal length

    Closer to equal length.

Think you'll be better off looking at examples of NA cars vs turbo cars, unless that what you are going for yourself.

Its stock cam versus an aggressive cam and the different manifolds.

The exhausts are similar except for the manifold.
