Yes they are about 3 times smaller than our US ones so it helps guys that are fabbing custom exhaust for swaps and such.Originally posted by BavarianBimmerAre they diff. to the US ones ?Comment

It seems like it would be just as benificial to just buy an aftermarket high flowing cat.Comment

Bingo. I must do this pretty soon since I have a state mandated SMOG test in early June and my OEM cat is toast. I didn't think about taking my camera with me to the muffler shop, but the aftermarket cat I plan to have installed is noticably smaller than the stock unit. $200 out the door is what they normally charge for this but I am going to flanges welded in place and then some test pipes fab'd so I can slip those in on track days. My final cost will be ~$300.Originally posted by rede30It seems like it would be just as benificial to just buy an aftermarket high flowing cat.

Mike here are euro cats and they look a hell of a lot different than any US cats I've ever seen. So spread the wealth and ship me over some euro cats! lolComment

my car was new delivered by BMW dealer Kohl at Aachen with factory cats and EuroII key for tax so they are stock.

Very true. They are NOT Euro BMW cats. I never said they were BMW cats. They are some Euro Race make that Turner got their hands on. I'll find out tomorrow exactly what they are, and where you can get them. The price I can tell you right now, is $600/per.Comment

you might as well just get 200 cell race cats off ebay for $37 and go with a custom system from header flange all the way back to exhaust tips.Comment
