is this cat too big for an M20?

wondering if it would be so big that it would hurt emissions or exhaust flow. there is a smaller version as well.

would the bigger one clean up emissions better? i know these things are hard on cats, well at least stock cats, so maybe a big v8 cat would do the trick??

I don't think they would be too big, but I would probably go with the smaller one to save weight.
