    pinging, popping is common on new pipes....give it a few weeks. Put on a magnaflow, dyno max..or borla...all under 100 bucks....xcept maybe the borla. i run a borla. let us know dyno nimbers........hang in there. pics of fit too....sounds like you have some fit issues/.......?...rubbing you mentioned?...

    that sucks, my car had no strange sound or vibrations besides the banging of the pipes on the floor over big bumps of my car cause there's not hangers for the mid pipe, i got that fixed and drove happily ever after. never got hassled by the cops either.     im getting phantom sounds now..hhmmm i heard a loud ping sound almost like a bb getting shop at a tin can..freaked me out i thought my pipe fell on the ground or something. wondering if anyone else has any ideas on that noise? i hope the pipe didnt crack or something

    mine vibrated alot too, check your motor mounts, mine were pretty much non-existant....I have ZERO vibrations now:)

    i got them in last night sounds weird with the ansa muffler on it. well just driving around town it sounds weird but i had my friend give it a go for the money and it sounds damned good. so now my mission is to get a different muffler and bring it to a dyno.the one thing about the headers is that its a realy close fit it rubs on everything im getting crazy vibrations in the car around 5k from it so i have to put it back in the air and see if i can fix some of it.other than that my ecu got alittle used to everything being changed and its starting to pick up alot more than the original exhaust.

    damn thing is going to be loud as hell ive heard a clip from someone on youtube.com. sounds pretty cool but very loud. i do have an ansa muffler on the back so that should help tone it down but im still going to put it all on. everything looks to just slip together clamps and all. hopefully wed ill get it all in.

    i stayed with bavauto like i said and they should be in on the 1st or the 30th. i cant wait!! i might bring it to a dyno after i put them on as well ill let you guys know whats going on. might be alittle while before i get to the dyno though. im suprised, i raced a wrx (not sti) the other day and i kinda walked away from the thing especialy in the corners not sure if he didnt know how to drive but the bimmer does know how to handle.:up:
